Recognise your conflict management champions

Recognise your conflict management champions - 30 May 2007

The search is on for people who have made an outstanding contribution to managing violence in the work place. Sponsored by City and Guilds the Conflict Professional Awards 2007 will recognise individuals who have made significant steps to reduce and manage workplace conflict.

Introduced by ConflictPro for the first time in 2006, the Awards aim to raise practice standards across the board for everyone involved in conflict resolution. From trainers, consultants and managers to people working at the ‘coal face’ who encounter violence and aggression first hand.

Awards are on offer for those working in security, justice, transport, local authority, healthcare, licensed retail or retail. Entries are welcomed from individuals and teams who have demonstrated their commitment to managing conflict, either by implementing strategies or policies to reduce violent incidents or by continually handling conflict situations particularly well.

To nominate a colleague or put yourself forward visit www.conflictproconference.com and enter online.

Winners will be announced at the Awards presentation following the ConflictPro Conference on 27th September in Canary Wharf, London.
